We Are Addiction ~

“There-are-two-options! FLAT-OUT! and SLEEPING-LIKE-THE-DEAD!”

SHE said, laying there – a-spinning her pretty, green head!!

“And YOU CAN NOT DISAGREE, WITH MY CONCLUSIONS, YOU SEE;

I KNOW TRUTH – and – It’s WHATEVER I’VE SAID!!”

“AND LIFE! IS O N L Y FOR PROGRESS & SHOWING,

HOW MUCH YOU CAN DO, EVER KNOWING;

YOU M U S T BE GREATLY CONCERNED & I’m SURE you’ll get burned,

ETERNAL-FLAMES – MUST BE KEPT, EVER GROWING!”

Father-Karras would NOT disagree,

But SUGGESTED a more moderate degree,

Of useful, kind living – some taking – some giving,

He said: “Regan, listen to me:

SOMETIMES! FLAT-OUT-IS (V E R Y) DESIRABLE,

IN SOME-INSTANCES, GREATLY ADMIRABLE,

But – WHEN-YOU-OVERDO, ALL THE TIME, YOU MIGHT RUE,

YOUR SWEET LIFE! With The Devil you’re conspire-able!?”

BUT – Regan was so darn possessed,

She heard NOT what Father Karras professed,

So! It-WAS-as-we-feared! Her fast head disappeared!*

AND N O W REGAN? SHE R E A L L Y CAN REST!! 🙂 – Whew!
