“THE SEEKERS,” a poem in 3 parts, Part 3: “A Hateful(?) Love Letter.” Saturday All Day, September 28, 2019

Oh, LOVE, Dear Love: This is NOT THAT place,

But “a Curious, DiscontentmentMixedWithSatisfaction Space.”

So, even IF you sing: “I (Can’t) Get No Satisfaction” all day,

You still will be thrown some in a tender sort of way.

Here, there’s NOT The Face of Consistency or Uniform Anything;

You may NEVER KNOW what The Next Moment may bring.

So, WELCOME to GOING CRAZY, trying to conform THIS to your expectations;

If you don’t get WHAT YOU THINK you want, it DON’T MEAN “you’re on rations.”

You NEED NOT “imbalance” yourself or even WHAT’S AROUND YOU;

If you close your “seeking eyes;” you’ll StillBreatheDeeply too.

THIS is NOT THAT place, so try to give up The Search and Destroy,

Please try to give up finding you a perfect, little boy.

PERFECTION is OBLIVION; THIS place takesYouToTheMoonAndBack,

Your ideals DON’T LIVE HERE, in “A Place of Plenty AND Lack.”

It’s a place of COURAGE and also of DEBILITATING FEAR;

(Don’t) TRY not to hurt yourself, My Lovely, Precious Dear.

GIVE UP THE QUEST or GIVE UP ALL,

Including those things that you THINK will be “a ball.”

ACCEPT A DRINK (a drink) OF TERRIBLE FIRE;

Learn(?) to be peaceful, amidst your desire,

Which may not be filled here immediately, for time here is KING.

IT can postpone things good; so, PATIENCE MIGHT BRING,

YOUR GREATEST PEACE? Your Search For God you could release,

Along with Cooperation, Understanding, Virtue & Ideals please.*

Have Faith in NOTHING; then maybe Hope can string eternal;

Relax and stop The Hard Fought andPerhaps Infernal,

Striving for Unattainable “Perfection?”

“Imperfect Perfect’s” PERHAPS a reasonable direction.

Moral: I’ll find me peace AND non-peace in The Bosom of Horror,

(S)he who’s rich in things is often much poorer,

But PLEASE don’t take this to mean you gotta relinquish “your stuff;”

Don’t EVEN TRY to do THAT.

“DON’T BE.” (Isn’t THAT pretty tough?)
