#AceNewsReport – July.04: A search warrant was executed at a Greenway residence yesterday by ACT Criminal Investigation JACET officers with the assistance of a specialist canine team.

#AceDailyNews reports that last month, members of the ACT Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team JACET) received information relating to a person allegedly accessing child abuse material via peer-to-peer file sharing internet sites.

A number of computer and data storage items were seized and will be forensically examined. Further charges are expected.  

Anyone with information regarding the accessing or creation of child exploitation material is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
