Caring ~

A house is just a house.

But our home is where our heart resides.

A church building is just a building.

But the church is the family of Christ.

A job is just a job.

It is not our life or define who we are.

In this life, things will come and go.

Circumstances will change.

Life will lift us to the clouds and

Then drop us down to the deepest pit.

People will leave us and break our hearts.

Jobs will end and devastate us.

Buildings might be destroyed.

But none of that can destroy us.

Because we are so much more than

Our jobs, our homes, our bank accounts.

Even if all of that is taken away God designed and created.

We can always rise back from the ashes.

We are still “us”.

We still are the same soul that

During the low times, we know

To just look up.

There we find the light.

There we find the strength and comfort

That we need to make it through.

There we remember who we are.
