God knows the best
Our Father knows what’s best for us,
So there’s no reason to complain.
We often seek the sunshine,
Yet He understands the need for rain.
We cherish the sound of laughter
And the joy that brings us cheer,
But our hearts grow tender and strong
Through the moments, we shed a tear.
Our Father tests us with challenges,
Not to punish, but to prepare,
For growth comes not without struggle,
And tomorrow’s strength is in our care.
Just as trees are strengthened by the storm,
And marble gains grace from the chisel’s art,
God never inflicts pain without purpose,
Each loss leads to a richer part.
When we count the blessings freely given,
Murmurs fade; lamenting grows small.
For our Father loves us dearly,
And understands our deepest call.
He doesn’t send us pleasure
When our souls require a little pain.
So, in times of trouble and trials,
It’s God shaping us, making our spirits gain.
