The Law’s Eternal Light
A book of laws, a sacred guide,
A beacon shining, far and wide.
Deuteronomy, a holy text
Where ancient wisdom stands erect.
Moses’ words, a timeless art
Engraved forever on the heart.
A covenant forged, a sacred vow,
To live by faith, and honor now.
The Ten Commandments, pure and bright,
A moral compass, day and night.
Love thy neighbor, fear the Lord,
Obey His laws, a just reward.
Through desert trials, a faithful guide,
A promise kept, a nation’s pride.
The Promised Land, a distant dream,
A hope fulfilled, a sacred scheme
So let us heed, this ancient lore,
And strive to live, forevermore.
With hearts aflame, and spirits pure,
Deuteronomy’s light, to forever sure.
