Our culture has a widespread belief that if something feels good, it’s worth doing.

This idea impacts everyone, whether they want it to or not.

However, when you let your emotions control you, you start living your life based on your feelings.

But God wants you to live a life of faith, not just a shallow existence.

True faith persists even when you don’t feel like doing the right thing.

Successful people understand this principle and do things others are unwilling to do.

They push themselves to train for extra hours to become Olympic athletes or to spend countless hours practising to become master musicians.

In the same way, to strengthen your relationship with God, you must spend time with Him even when you don’t feel like it.

Faith and persistence go hand in hand.

Trust means you don’t give up even when you’re tired, and confidence means you won’t quit.

Moses is an excellent example of a life lived in faithful persistence.

He didn’t give up even when faced with the king’s anger.

Hebrews 11:27 says, “It was by faith that Moses left Egypt and was not afraid of the king’s anger.

Moses continued strong as if he could see the God no one can see.” Moses understood that to achieve the impossible, he had to see the invisible.

God will give you the strength to persevere when you need it.

He’ll give you the power to keep working on a hopeless marriage, to pick yourself up when you’ve fallen, or to keep going when you’re on the edge of bankruptcy.

He’ll provide the ability to stand firm in your convictions when the pressure around you says to give in.

The key to faith is persistence.

Keep your eyes on God, not on your problems.

God’s power to keep going is always available to those who ask for it.
