PLEASE TRY to be hopeful, patience and strong;
We’re ALL just trying [really, we are] to simply “get along.”
Be patient, MY LOVE, our dreams WILL come true;

And we’ll never know what we can do, unless we take a step at a time.
Remember: “You’re my inspiration for this rhythm and rhyme.”

Hold my hand, close your eyes and the two of us shall pray,
For a miracle and BELIEVE that miracles happen each day.
The next miracle will turn these skies to blue, from gray,
