“THE REFEREE!” a poem, September 6, 2019 (Friday) in the series: “It’s a God Thang!”
GOD! ONE DAY? one day!!!! was sitting HERE? ALL ALONE!
Eating a “frito pie!” and “chewin’ on a bone!”
LONESOME! Lonesome – as can be!
Lonesome-r THAN-A-DOVE! caught-up “in a-tree!”
And, God said: “I’ll make a friend,
One who’ll be with me – until The Very End!”
So, GOD made GLADYS,
Because (y’-know) God-favored-a-woman-with a-fat-a _ _ ,
Like KIM! or J-Lo;
So, anyway – GOD MADE A FRIEND, YOU-KNOW!
And – THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER, i.e.: “God-&-Friend,-Inc.”
They made LOTS-a-LOVE, and (Yes!) It-really-did-stink!
But, STINK’S “RELATIVE!” And God and Friend thought it just-fine,
To – FUMIGATE THE COSMOS, and They called-it: “Divine!”
And FRIEND! (well, SHE?) LEFT-“HIM” FOR “Joe, The Plumber,”
“BUT!!!!! I thought you said – – – !” Yes, I-know! It was a real BUMMER!”
“However, (let me introduce myself): I’m your-host Donald Trump,
And THIS-IS ‘MY’ TWEET;
In-‘The-Baseball-Game-of-Life,’
I’m The-Ump!
