When a severe storm damaged the tallest tree in Wales, U.K., local leaders decided to cut the tree down. Instead, chainsaw artist Simon O’Rourke said he had a better solution. Removing the damaged upper portion, he carved this hand out of the massive lower section to symbolise the trees enduring attempt to reach the sky.
