I Pray, Dear Lord, “MayI not lose humor,
DespiteANYTHING, evenDISEASEorAmalignantTUMOR.”
For, withNOsenseOFhumor, it’s H _ L L we’re in,
And I am there, yes, once again,
For Humor’s linked to Peace of Mind,
And DeathCertificates can be signed: (pause)
“Died too serious, without humor.”
I often ponder on the rumor,
That Jesus laughed so many times;
Yes, even when accused of crimes,
That He was not really guilty for,
He laughed evenTHEN.
PRAY:
“Forevermore,
Please, Dear God, may laughter be,
Instilled in to me naturally.
I know I can’t keep it on my own;
It is from Your Grace;
GRACE ALONE.”
