“LOVING THE AVOIDANCE GURU.”

Do you ever hear: “Avoid him.” or “Avoid her?”

Who is this “person” with whom you confer,

Who says: “You should avoid that,” and “You should avoid THIS WAY?”

“You should avoid many things, and do as I say.”

But doesn’t Truth reside here with YOU, within?

Where Oh Where Oh Where’s “The Sin?”

It doth reside, perhaps, deep within “the mouth,”

Of “The Avoidance Guru,” who is scanning north and south,

And who likes to say: “It is dangerous there for you;

HIM or HER or even THAT will certainly lead to,

An upset for you or, perhaps, your sad demise.”

I think that maybe the person who is truly wise,

Will NOT SEEK TO AVOID even this guru (unless the guru sends you away).

Easy. Go easy. It’s just another day.

A day of trying to be strong, I think within your OWN

SELF. This is the greatest treasure that I’ve ever known.

It’s that peace of mind. Yes. That The Avoidance Guru wants to grab,

But try and be loving with this guru, whom you need never stab;

Just be easy with The Avoidance Guru, and you need not escape from,

THIS PART OF YOU. So, with moderation seek you some,

Kind Audience with your Avoidance Guru, but, maybe, fairly seldom.

That way The Guru won’t confuse and upset your little tum.

A Middle Path? Here, an easy go; “The Razor’s Edge,” nice and slow,

With Happy Good Humor and a(n) “I don’t know.”

Yet, you can CHOOSE to avoid or not avoid things and hope for the “best?”

We can eat, we can cuddle, we can take a little rest,

And I’ll be very happy, as I lie upon your breast.
