Lost story ~

Lord

you will not die until you meet Christ, –

And He’s been so excited for this meeting ever since!

The Holy Spirit of Simeon predicted,

And The Holy Spirit was with him and inspired.

And firmly believing that the Messiah would come,

A deep old man, hoping, waited,

But one day on Maria’s hands
He saw the Savior in the temple.

As God is determined by the law,

So shall all Jews live;

Came Chet to rite fulfill

With the grace of Christ accepting,

And dedicate the baby to the Lord.

He is born of the virgin, he is the messenger of heaven.

An old man who said,

Blessing God, thus said:

according to your word, Lord, now
You let go of the slave in peace:

I see salvation in your son,

You are the glory of Israel to Israel
And Light all nations light.

And the inspired prayer of Simeon

With gratitude to God raised.

The time of the old law has ended,

The era of the New Testament has begun.
