#AceNewsDesk says a man is due to appear in court today, Friday, 4 March, charged with encouraging terrorism, as part of an investigation being led by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command.

Eymad Dhine Hammouti, 21 (29.11.00) of north London, will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with an offence under Section 1 of the Terrorism Act 2006.

Hammouti was arrested by counter terrorism officers in east London on Friday, 25 February.

On Saturday, 26 February, detectives were granted a warrant of further detention at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, allowing them to keep him in custody until Friday, 4 March.

He was subsequently charged on Thursday, 3 March.
