tears and survival.
the human spirit is built on resilience.
but at times, we must confess that it too, can become bruised and fragile and broken.
lacking in strength and resolve
by the sword of one word, it can shatter into a million pieces.
and by the salve of one word, it can carry a torch to illuminate others.
do not underestimate the destruction that a single moment of disregard can cause another.
but so too, do not underestimate the power within the soul to overcome.
to heal.
to rebuild.
And endure the storm.
We are made of the bones of both tears and survival.
