Stan Miller watercolour portraits
Stan Miller
was one of 7 children. Stan moved to Spokane, WA, when he was 15 years old and graduated from Spokane Falls Community College with an Applied Arts Degree and a Commerical Arts Degree. He remembers getting a "C" in his first watercolour class, so he retook the course and received an "A". This is when he fell in love with watercolour. He has instructed since 1976 and loves it almost as much as painting. His awards are numerous such as ones from the American Watercolor Society International Exhibition (NYC), Quindao International Watercolor Exhibition (China), Artist Magazine Competition, and the Grand Prize from Watercolor Magic National Competition.
