Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.🫂
If you are a parent, you have experienced the heartache of seeing your child hurt, scared, or sad. Even when we are disciplining our children, we feel the brunt of their pain and desire for them to be comforted. If we, as earthly parents, are capable of this deep compassion, how much more does God have for us? It assures us that He feels our pain and is prepared to provide comfort and relief.🫂
Father God, thank You for Your compassion. It gives me peace to know that You understand my pain and fear, that by Your love, You are moved with compassion for me, and that You have the power to heal, restore, and comfort me. Please take my pain, Lord, and by Your boundless compassion, fill me with Your peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🫂
