Your pain can reveal God’s purpose for you, and If you’ve been through a difficult time, it means that God has a plan for your life, and He wants you to use your experience to help others who are going through the same thing. What you’re most ashamed or resentful about could become your most significant ministry.

Think about it: who better to help somebody going through a tough time than somebody who’s been through it themselves? Your struggles could be the key to unlocking someone else’s healing. The Bible says that God comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. Even when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for the benefit of others! When settled, we can pass that comfort on to others going through the same thing.

This is called redemptive suffering, a powerful way that God uses the pain in our lives to bring about good. Just like Jesus’ death on the cross was meant for our salvation, God can use our difficulties to help others and bring glory to His name.

So even if your problems, pain, and suffering have many causes, remember that God can redeem it all. He can bring you through a time of grief and make you more robust on the other side. And who knows? You might be the one to help someone else find their way to healing and hope.
