If tragedies in your life make you lose your faith in God, you give up.

Please don’t give up, friend.

What kind of faith is it that it’s lost because of things not going right?

Does having faith only when everything is going perfect even count as faith?

Read and think about Job.

How he had so many tragedies happen to him in his life, yet God still blessed him in the end.

Blessed him twice as much as what he had in the beginning.

Why?

Because Job learned to trust in the Lord’s wisdom.

Despite of all that had happened to him.

I know it’s easier said than done to trust in God.

When waves are crashing before us, it’s hard not to think about the fact that we may drown.

It’s not easy trusting that God will hold us up.

When people say that God will never give us more than we can handle, they’re wrong.

He won’t let us be TEMPTED more than we can handle, but he does let us go through trials more than our ability to endure.

This is because He wants us to rely on Him to overcome them.

And when we rely on Him, we rise.

We overcome.

It may take time.

It may take a lot of time.

But there is a reward for those that do.

God loves you.

And His love can’t be placed in any box of understanding.

You may not understand right now why you are going through these trials, but someday you will.

It’s not really about understanding, it’s about trusting.

Just hold on because He is holding on to you.
