It’s okay to feel like you’re not good enough sometimes, but it’s important to remember that God doesn’t expect you to be perfect. The Bible reminds us that God knows we’re only human and that we all make mistakes. Even when we mess up, God’s love for us never changes. He doesn’t love us for what we do or who we are but simply because we are His creation. You don’t have to earn God’s love or approval – it’s already there for you, no matter what. That’s the beauty of grace.
If you’re struggling with guilt or shame over past mistakes, know that God is always ready and waiting to forgive you. You don’t have to keep asking for forgiveness on the same issue – once you’ve received God’s grace, it’s yours forever. And you don’t have to worry about whether God is tired of hearing from you or if He’s too busy for you. He always has time for you, and He never grows tired of listening to you.
If you grew up in an environment where love and acceptance were conditional on your success or accomplishments, it’s understandable that you might feel like you have to earn God’s love, too. But that’s not how it works. God’s love is unconditional, and it’s not based on what you do or don’t do. So you can rest easy knowing that you are loved just like you are, flaws and all.
Remember that the Christian life isn’t about being perfect – it’s about living a life full of grace and forgiveness. So don’t be too hard on yourself, and don’t be afraid to take risks and make mistakes. God is always there to catch you when you fall, and His love will never let you go.
