It’s important to have grace in any relationship. It would help to let things go and not hold people accountable for every little mistake. The Bible says, “Love patiently accepts all things” in 1 Corinthians 13:7. In the original Greek, this means “covered with a roof.” A roof protects your home from the wind and rain, and in the same way, biblical love covers and protects your relationship. We all make mistakes because we are sinners, so grace is crucial. No relationship is perfect because no one is perfect. Both parties are responsible for disagreements, and forgiveness is a two-way street. We must treat others like God treats us, accepting them as they are. Romans 15:7 says, “Accept each other just as Christ has accepted you.”
