Close Your Door
There are moments in life when you might feel disconnected from reality.
These are the times when it is critical to reflect on what is essential to your existence. It’s important to prioritize yourself because if you don’t, no one else will.
Learn to recognize when you have done enough and stop at that point.
Similarly, just as you apologize unnecessarily, it’s important to acknowledge when you deserve an apology.
You might believe that certain things or people will make you happy if you push yourself hard enough to obtain them, but they will only bring temporary happiness.
True happiness comes from within and appreciating what you have in the present, rather than what you may attain in the future.
If something belongs in your life, it will come to you; you don’t need to force it.
Take the time to see and appreciate the people and things around you that can make you happy.
Say “no” when necessary, both to yourself and others and remember to take care of yourself before extending help to others.
It’s important to remember that what you already have is what will lift you, not what you want.
