How does air affect you?
The carbon in the air is colourless and odourless. We might be inclined to forget that aspect, but I believe no one will dare to make a concert in a burning forest (or maybe a pun for a creative impact 😛).
Air affects me greatly, whether through the the dryness… A singer will tend to be more sensitive to this aspect because is it their instrument. Also, it has a direct impact on the health and body.
When do you notice air?
If my emotions are overjoyed, I might be less aware of it.
Although, a singer (or classical singer) will notice it really fast because it matters to the adaptation of producing the tone.
When is air the most important to you?
Always. 🙂 More importantly, if I am doing a concert.
My nerves might be something to manage, but if the ‘ air environment’ is another factor of stress, it is another challenge for my task.
What does air make you think of?
It is a vital aspect of our life, maybe taken for granted because it is invisible.
Hence, it is part of the interconnectedness of plenty of elements.
When do you notice air the most?
In the early morning, an unbearable hot summer afternoon, during a cold and windy snowstorm or between seasons change. When I was younger, I used to smell and predicted at my taste if the winter would be coming
