Lord 🙏

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

The main evidence that a Christian is truly a child of God, is that they follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. We receive instructions from God, through the Holy Spirit. To turn down those instructions is to disobey God. Children are not to disobey their father. Obedience is part of an expression of our faith in God. We cannot just claim with our mouths that we are children of God. We have to live it in our lives to, as a result of the salvation we received.

Lord, my prayer is that I will take heed to the leading of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, and not any other voice or influence. I choose to be led by you, O God, because you are my Father and I know that you always have my best interests at heart. You know me better than I know myself. I trust your guidance in my life completely. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
