What is the most unexpected thing you have done for someone else

A homeless man asked for money

I said I had no cash but if he liked my lunch

I’d be happy to share with him some

I gave him his choice of what I have and saw the
surprise on his face

He said “well damn, God bless.”

Instead of taking his leave I asked if he had anywhere to be, he didn’t

So we ate on the sidewalk

Across the road was a mural painted on a wall

I explained I loved art and that the picture was
amazing

He explained that he had done the painting from
paint that someone had thrown out into a Bin

Wow…That is amazing I said…

We spoke for over an hour and eventually when
I left

I had learnt so so much

We never know what we can learn from an unexpected
stranger
