A long time ago we could feel safe – people left there doors open on their homes and their cars and never locked up – Those were the days
Now one day three people met up lets call them – Tom – Dick & Harry and each one worked hard from ‘ Dawn to Dusk ‘ Now Tom made bread – Dick made butter and Harry cheese and they were happy and content and enjoyed life
Now these three met at lunch time every day and shared food to help make a cheese sandwich for them all to enjoy before returning to their work – Now they were all satisfied and felt full with having shared and cared about their neighbour
One day it all changed as from another town Tom’s uncle visited and brought with him the family and his name was Sid and Sid was a butcher and he killed and prepared meat for people to eat – he was not like Tom, Dick or Harry who believed in not killing as it said in the Bible and Sid started meeting for lunch as well but did not bring any food to eat just ate everyone’s else’s and he was not thin and happy he was fat and unhappy but he saw a way to make money that the others had not seen as there eyes were not open and anyway did not want to eat from the tree in the midst of the garden and so Sid (who was a snake in the grass) said to Tom – Your Bread is more important than the butter and cheese as without it they could not have a sandwich so you should charge for each slice a few pennies. Now Tom was easily persuaded and reluctantly agreed
And then these three calm peaceful men began to argue over who’s produce was more important saying bread will be dry without butter and tasteless without cheese and they went there separate ways not meeting for lunch anymore and Sid began to push up the price of bread as the others had to do the same as they could not afford to eat and gradually everything was too expensive as others climbed on the bandwagon of greed and wanted more
The moral of the story my friends is it only takes one snake in the grass and everything is changed so be careful not to follow anyone else and only do what is in Your Heart with Kindness & Love in Peace & Truth and you will ‘ Share & Care ‘ Always and Forevermore
AMEN
