Kindness is free. 💥 Hurt

“NO ONE CAN EVER HURT ME AGAIN?” a poem, a.k.a.: “For Those STILL Hurting From All The People Who Have Hurt Them.” SUNday: 12/01/2019

Remember? SHE said: “Don’t hurt anybody.” (‘specially me).

“OK, Honey,” I said; OF COURSE, it didn’t come unexpectedly.

“But NOW I KNOW I’ll Never HURT ANYONE ever again.

And I’ll never let anyone hurt ME.”

Yeah.

AMEN,

Because THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN HURT YOU IS JUST SIMPLY YOU.

No one hurts you; you just BLAME THEM, you do,

For the hurt that you think THEY inflicted this day,

It simply ain’t true; YOU’RE THE HURTER.

Hooray,

“When WE REA LIZE that WE are ‘bullet proof,’ Hon,

Then our seasons of blaming can stop. SO MUCH FUN.

(pause)

Now, that we’ve been able to STOP THE BLAME GAME,

And pointing our accusing finger, which is always sorta lame,

WEknow: You CAN’T HURT ANOTHER, and actually you can’t even hurt yourself,

UNLESS YOU DECIDE TO. So, put your BLAMES on ‘the shelf,’

Leave them alone. And watch them each day,

Can you see how silly they are? as they dwindle away?”

IF YOU NEVER BLAME, then BLAME HOLDS “NO SWAY.”

I just LOVE “reality,” it is such a fine way,

OfEventually getting HURTandANGST to “fizzle out” and fade from your view.

NO ONE HURTS ANOTHER. YOU SIMPLY (try to) HURT YOU.

(But, I know all these words will surely fall on deaf ears,

Of people WHO LIKE TO BLAME to support their “hurting tears.”

But, I’m crazy (pause) and a poet and this job can NEVER succeed;

Job Description: “Offer mysticism in buckets of lollies.”

Cause that may sweeten the Mystic Poet instead
