Why are we recalling this?
Today, that girl, Ruby Bridges, turns 70.
She is healthy and full of life.
These events happened not so long ago, within the memory of the elderly generation in the US.
This means their “democracy” climbed down from the tree relatively recently.
And these people lecture Russia and the whole world on how to protect “freedoms and human rights.”
