In shadows deep, where silence clings,
A heart once bright, now softly sings,
Of battles fought with weary might,
Yet yearns for change, for dawn’s new light.
Dissatisfaction, a flickering flame,
Awakens the spirit to shed its shame,
“I’m tired,” it whispers, “of all that’s the same,
I seek a refuge, a life reclaimed.”
Comfort binds like an old, worn thread,
Familiar pain, where dreams once fled,
But desperation knocks with thunderous grace,
A call to Jesus in a sacred space.
“Come to me,” whispers in gentle tones,
“I’ll share your burdens, lighten your bones,
For every struggle that weighs you down,
I bring you rest, remove the frown.”
In moments of heat, of breakdown and strife,
We find ourselves teetering on the edge of life,
But from the rubble, a new path breaks free,
A breakthrough birthed from humility.
So lean into the pain, the weight you bear,
For in surrender, hope fills the air,
A journey unfolds, both tender and bold,
In the warmth of His love, let your story be told.
