A Prayerful Heart
In humble prayer, I bow my head,
To praise the love by which I’m led.
Heavenly Father, gentle and faithful,
With gratitude, I turn to You.
Your mercy flows like a river wide,
In the depths of grace, I choose to abide.
Each moment filled with Your divine light,
I’m guiding my steps through day and night.
Forgive my wrongs, let peace unfold,
In forgiving hearts, your love is told.
Remove the barriers that stand in the way,
As I seek Your will, or grace, each day.
Holy Spirit, come fill my soul,
Teach me to surrender, to make me whole.
In every struggle, in every fight,
Be my strength, my guiding light.
With every heartbeat, with every breath,
I trust in You, even in death.
Help me bear fruit, let my actions show,
The beauty of your love that endlessly flows.
In Your presence, Lord, I long to dwell,
In Spirit and truth, my heart will tell.
As I lay my life down at Your feet,
In your precious love, I find my peace.
In Jesus’ name, I lift this plea,
Forever Yours, may I always be.
