Men typically have two main reasons for being with women: sex and love. However, when it comes to marriage, most men don’t marry for these reasons. They marry for stability.
By “stability,” I mean peace of mind and soul. A man can love you yet still choose not to marry you. He might be involved with you sexually for years without proposing. But once he encounters a woman who brings stability into his life, he will likely marry her.
Many men think, “I love this woman, but I don’t believe I can spend my life with her.” Unlike women, who might focus on wedding dresses and bridesmaids when considering marriage, men often ponder questions like: “Can this woman help me build a home? Can she care for our children and support me? Will she provide me with peace and comfort?”
Men seek peace and tend to avoid women who bring stress into their lives. This explains why a man might stay with one woman for many years yet marry someone else after a shorter time.
For men, it’s not just about sex or love; it’s about respect because respect brings stability.
