The moon hangs heavy, draped in the velvet night,
Upon Verona’s walls, a whisper of pale light.
No star dares to shine, outshone by Juliet’s grace,
A bloom of youth in this forbidden place.
Romeo Heart a Captive Bird,
Bound by beauty’s chains, no warning has he heard.
Her sweet voice, a melody so clear,
Has banished darkness and dispelled every fear.
He climbs the orchard where the roses sleep,
Vowing his love, a promise he will keep.
No family feud, no ancient bitter rage
It can dim the fire that burns upon this stage.
Juliet leans from her high balcony,
A sigh escapes, a soul both wild and free.
She calls for Romeo, her heart laid bare,
A love so true beyond compare.
Their words entwine, a whispered secret vow,
Beneath the moon, they pledge their love somehow.
But fate, a cruel and unrelenting hand,
Has woven sorrow through this promised land.
Yet at this moment, bathed in silver glow,
Two hearts ignite, and seeds of passion grow.
Though shadows lengthen and dawn draws near,
Their love’s bright flame will conquer every fear.
For even tragedy, in its dark embrace,
It can not extinguish love’s eternal grace.
Juliet’s name will forever reside,
A symbol of true love can not be hidden.
Everybody wants to ride with you in the limo, but what you truly need is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.💫
