Today is my Mothers Birthday in Heaven
Memories of long ago Mum gave Birth to a little baby girl, a change of life baby.
All the other kids were married, then I arrived on the day the marriage of our cousins I really messed that up. Doesn’t surprise me today😁
The interloper into a family of seven.
I was happy living in my own world.
Billy carts, cats dogs and the platypus down the river bank we’re my friends
Mama tried to educate us to be scholars, appreciation of music, dance.
Oh, affirmative Mum was a genuinely compassionate Human Rights advocate.
Mum came from Hell being a child rescued from the Gas Chambers in Germany cause of bigotry against Jews.
Mum never knew who her family was. She was the only surviver.
Mum was hidden by the Australian Government who rescued many children from these death centers.
Mum was rehomed in the Victorian Bush with a man who lost his wife in childbirth leaving two small babies to fend for.
Mum was 10 or thereabout she never knew her age.
The Australian government issued new names and birth certificates. Being Mum she would laugh 😅 and say ” well if the Queen of England can change her Birthday to celebrate her birth I will too”
I used the wonder as a kid how the Queen did that and came to the conclusion perhaps she was from the Gas Chambers too. 😉
