Justice demands fairness. But too often, we let our perceptions cloud our judgment. It is suitable to show compassion for people experiencing poverty, but we must temper our understanding by weighing the truth. It is convenient to befriend the well-off, but we must not allow their wealth and influence to purchase our compromise. In all judgments, truth and fairness must be our measures. Lord, You call us to judge fairly and rightly. When judgment is required, help me to discern truth by Your wisdom. Let me not be tempted by riches and influence. Neither let me not be deceived by blind compassion. Let Your righteousness prevail so you may be honoured in all my decisions. In Jesus’ name, amen. ⚜️🙏⚜️
