The Psalmist says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” – Psalms 34 verse 18.
He doesn’t shun you, criticize you, or look at what you’re doing wrong.
He won’t throw His hands up and walk away just because you make a mistake.
Instead, He draws near to you in love.
Even in your worst times, He will offer you His living water.
He is drawing near to you even now.
Let go of the shame and every negative label that people have put on you, and believe that He is the One Who desires to draw near to you, to heal your broken heart, and to fill your thirsty soul!
