We are made clean by Jesus and forgiven through His death.
And though the trappings of ritual and regulation no longer bind us, God calls us to use our freedom wisely.
Let us be mindful of our impact on others and not let our choices and actions become a distraction or an impediment to those still lost.
For meat destroy not the work of God.
All things are pure, but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
Lord, thank You for freeing me from the burden of regulation.
Please help me to love my neighbours with thoughtfulness and not flaunt my freedom.
Instead, teach me to use my privilege to serve others and to honour their conscience so that in doing so, You may use me to build others up in You. In Jesus’ name, amen.🙏
