For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

As God’s children, we are called not just to receive His blessings but to pass on His benefits. Even when we suffer evil, we are called to do good. When we receive insults, God asks us to answer with kindness. And should anyone curse us, let us speak only blessings. Let our words always reflect the hearts of the One who has filled us with His grace and called us to eternal life.

Lord, sometimes it’s hard to deal with the evil of this world. When others hurl insults at me, I want revenge or justice. Help me to rely on Your grace, to centre my heart on Your blessings, so that my words may honour Your name and reveal Your kingdom. Work through me so that all I say may lead others to Your grace. In Jesus’ name, amen.🙌
