God created the earth. He made the laws that govern the world and the laws that govern the journey to heaven. In this Psalm, the first step is taken by learning the way: asking the Lord for what you want.
Tender God, I am ashamed to say that I am often fearful to ask You simple questions. I am scared that You will refuse me or be too afraid to ask a question that may seem stupid. I know that You do not judge me for this, and you are happy to hear all of my questions. I want to learn the ways of earth, O Lord, the rules that You have made to govern humanity so that I may gain immortality in heaven. I kneel before You, begging to know the ways. As You do to me, loving Father, I, too, will listen to You. Amen.🙏🙏
