Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
“I baptize you in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Buried with Him in baptism and raised with Him into new life.” Perhaps you’ve heard a pastor say this, or maybe you’ve heard it as you were being baptized. Jesus told us to be baptized with water and the Spirit. Baptism is important. It makes us part of the Church and allows us to enter the kingdom of God. Something wonderful happens at baptism. If you haven’t been baptized, you may consider talking to your pastor about whether or not you should be baptized.
Heavenly Father, thank you for providing a way for us. Thank you for sending Your Holy Spirit to us to live inside us. Baptism is beautiful. Thank you for allowing me to participate in and witness such a beautiful act. Getting to watch others become a part of the family of God is amazing. Help me to appreciate baptism more. In Jesus’ name. Amen.🙏🙏
