Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
There is one thing that God is consistent with, keeping his promises. The Lord promised to protect the children of Zion and did everything he could to sustain their kingdom. The people’s choices may not have always been exactly what he wanted, but He made a covenant with them that needed to be fulfilled. If that meant altering the weather a little bit, God would be willing to do that.
Giving God, you sustain us through all our struggles. You water us like a plant in the desert, quenching our thirst for faith. We all long to believe, Lord, and You always deliver that which we require. I will never forget what You have done for me, merciful Lord, and I pray that I shall be a better person from this point forward. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.🙏
