Gracious Lord,
I’ve been hurt by someone I deeply cared for and trusted, and I can’t seem to let go of the pain and anger that this has caused me.
But this is beginning to affect me as can’t focus on anything.
Lord, I pray that you help me to forgive and let go. I do not want to keep dwelling on this as it only angers and frustrates me.
Teach me to not dwell on past hurt. Teach me to forgive just as you forgive me every day. In Jesus name, I pray
