You’re feeling anxious because you’re rushing when there’s no need to. Isn’t that how our enemy operates? He despises rest and a steady pace, pushing us to move ahead of God during waiting seasons. This leads to stress and anxiety as we adopt a counterfeit timeline and accuse God of being too slow.
The enemy tempts us to believe we can conquer all challenges by our own strength, especially while waiting on the Lord. There comes a moment when faith may not seem enough (even though we know it is), and we might think, “Maybe I can do something to help God make this happen faster.”
Yet, God calls us to trust and believe. Trust and believe without losing joy in the waiting. Trust and believe without forcing our own timelines due to impatience. Trust and believe without growing weary in doing good.
There is a time for action, and you’ll know when God is calling you because it will be accompanied by peace, not anxiety. So, wait. Slow down. Let Him lead. Allow Him to do what only He can do.
