Lord  ❤️

In whispers soft, I call You “Our,” 
Yet in my heart, do I live for more? 
A child once lost now seeks the light, 
To rise each day and walk the path of right. 

“Who art in heaven,” hear my plea, 
While earthbound cares distract and bind me; 
Let holiness flow through my veins, 
As I strive to honour Your sacred name.

“Thy Kingdom come,” ignite my soul, 
To hasten joy, to make broken hearts whole. 
“Thy will be done,” in trust I stand, 
Forsaking doubt, I reach for your hand. 

“On earth as it is,” let my deeds proclaim, 
A life dedicated to glorifying Your name. 
“Give us this day our daily bread,” 
With honesty, faith, where my spirit is fed. 

“Forgive us our trespasses,” teach me to let go, 
Grudges like chains, I’ll break them, I know. 
“Lead us not into temptation’s snare,” 
Strengthen my heart, remind me to care. 

“Deliver us from evil,” in shadows I tread, 
With prayer as my armour, still forward, I tread. 
“Thine is the kingdom,” loyal I vow, 
To serve and to respect my heart to You bow. 

“The power,” I seek, only from You, 
Fear will not cage me; my spirit is true. 
“The glory” I offer, not for my gain, 
But to lift your name high, through joy and through pain. 

“Forever,” my vision, beyond this brief hour, 
In love and in faith, I’ll rest in Your power. 
“Amen,” I declare, with each breath I take, 
For this prayer, my heart, my all, I gladly forsake.
