Do Not Worry: Trust in God’s Provision💥💥
In Matthew 6:25-34, as part of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, He said: 💥💫💥💥💫💥💥💫💥💥💥💥💥
“Therefore, I tell you, do not be anxious about your life: what you will eat or drink, your body or what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing? 💥💥
Look at the birds of the sky; they do not sow, reap, or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them
Are you not of much more value than they? And which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?
Why are you anxious about clothing? 💥💫💥
Consider the lilies of the field and how they grow. They do not toil, nor do they spin; yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these.
But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and thrown into the oven tomorrow, won’t He much more clothe you, you of little faith?
Therefore, do not be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek God’s Kingdom and righteousness first; all these things will also be added to you. Therefore, please do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry itself. Each day’s own trouble is sufficient.”💥💫💥💥💥💥💫💥
Meaning in Today’s Context 💥💫💥💥💥
Jesus calls us to let go of worry and fully trust God’s provision. Anxiety over our daily needs can reflect a lack of faith in God’s care for us. Instead, He invites us to focus on what truly matters: seeking His Kingdom and living according to His will. When we put God first, He promises to care for the rest. This means trusting God for practical things such as food and clothing while focusing our energy on growing spiritually, helping others, and living in alignment with His purposes. We are reminded to take life one day at a time, knowing that God is already in control of tomorrow.💥💫💥💥💥💥💫💥💥💥
