This passage beautifully highlights that faith is a precious gift! It’s a joy to realise that “No one can come to me unless the Father draws him.” Faith is a divine blessing from God! He lovingly plants the seed within us, and through Jesus, we have everything we need to nurture that seed and watch it flourish. Our role is to embrace the nutrients Jesus provides and help that little seed grow into a magnificent, blossoming plant.
There are two exciting parts to this journey! It’s essential to hear from the Father and learn from Him and turn towards Jesus with open hearts. Jesus spoke to a crowd struggling with belief and gently encouraged them to reflect on their faith. Just like the disciples, we may face moments that shake our faith, but those moments are opportunities to make a joyful decision to grow deeper in our trust!
And what a tremendous responsibility we have! As our faith blossoms, Jesus invites us to reach out and nourish the faith of others. Remember that only God plants the seed, but we are privileged to partake in its growth. Since we know exactly where to find the nourishment in Jesus, let’s joyfully share that gift with everyone around us!
