O beloved earth, earth, earth, listen closely to the voice of the LORD!
It is good to hear the word of the LORD.
It is also good to read your Bible independently, but that can not replace hearing God’s word.
That is one of the many reasons attending church and hearing the word preached is essential.
This scripture has so much emotion and emphasis.
As though they were already saying God’s word, but they weren’t listening, so now they are trying to gain their attention.
LORD, Your word is magnificent.
Thank you for providing it to us and preserving it from generation to generation.
I am grateful for its translation, allowing more people to know your word.
I thank You for giving me a Bible to read and pray for those who do not.
Please bless me with a thirst and hunger for Your word so that I desire it more and more in Jesus’ name, who is the Word,
