Men are inherently flawed and commit sins through their actions. Everyone has sinned or will sin in the future. God, on the other hand, is holy and cannot tolerate sin, which is why there is a separation between humans and God.

But God showed us mercy by sending his only son, Jesus Christ, who lived and died without committing any sins. As mentioned in a verse, Jesus was sent to the world to make us righteous through him. While it may seem like a lot of responsibility that we have to bear for the rest of our lives, it pales in comparison to the pressure that Jesus faced. He was sinless, yet he became a sinner for our salvation.

God could have left us in our sinful ways, but he made a covenant with Christians out of his love and mercy. He has given us a path to salvation if we abide by his covenant. The Bible discusses this covenant and the prophecy that begins in Genesis and ends in Revelations. Jesus has shown us the way, and he humbled himself so that we could be united with God. One of my favourite examples of this is from Matthew 3:13-15.

In this passage, Jesus comes to John the Baptist to be Baptiste, but John says he is not worthy of baptising Jesus. However, Jesus insists they must fulfil all righteousness, so John Baptiste is him. This definition shows us how to treat each other with humility and kindness, just as God would want us to.
