Love, being a pure and selfless emotion, always strives to promote the well-being of those we care about. Often, as responsible and caring individuals, we must exhibit prudence and firmness in order to prevent our loved ones from straying down harmful paths. Love not only offers comfort and support, but also serves as a shield against the dangers of the world. In times of need, when individuals may be unaware of their own vulnerabilities, love inspires us to act with kindness and compassion, in order to ensure their safety and welfare.
Father, it is not always easy to love those close to me. Sometimes they frustrate me, and other times they cause me to worry. Give me wisdom to see past my own feelings and to understand what is right and helpful in every situation. Give me compassion to seek good for others and discernment to know what truly is good.
