The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the Lord.
Strange as it may seem, it takes a little wisdom to see our need for wisdom.
Sometimes, we are so blinded by our foolishness that we can’t even see it, instead blaming God for our failures and shortcomings.
But when we recognize our folly, our eyes open to the truth that God is our solution, not our problem.
Lord, I come before You knowing that I have made mistakes.
My short-sighted and selfish choices have brought me strife, yet in my foolishness, I’ve blamed You.
Give me eyes to see my error, and give me a measure of Your wisdom so that I may not only overcome my foolishness but so that I can see You more clearly too.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
