Listen up! I’m sending you out into the world as sheep among wolves. But don’t worry, I’ve got your back. Just be smart like serpents and gentle like doves, and you’ll do just fine.
Sheep are vulnerable to wolves, and similarly, we are vulnerable to the effects of sin. However, God has provided us with protection. He sent Jesus to save us from our sins and be our way to the truth and light. The Holy Spirit guides and inspires us to seek wisdom from the Scriptures and protect our spirits from evil.
Dear God, we are not helpless! You equip us with Your Word, and Your Spirit guides us away from sin and towards You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
